Aphelion is built for people who point cameras at the sky: astrophotographers, observatories, planetariums and stargazing retreats. It’s a pure block theme, dark by design, that puts your images first: full-bleed galleries with a native lightbox, service pages with room for real specs, and a workshop page with an itinerary your guests can actually plan around. No page builder, no gallery plugin, core blocks all the way down.

The technology
Aphelion is a full site editing block theme. Every layout on the demo is editable in the Site Editor, and every section ships as a pattern, so rearranging pages is drag and drop, not code. The stylesheet is compiled and small, the fonts load from your own server, and the only plugins the theme asks for are four free ones from WordPress.org. The result is a site that scores well on Core Web Vitals out of the box and has no license keys to manage besides the theme’s own.
Everything you need to know
One license covers one website plus its staging copy. The annual license ($39) includes updates and support for a year, and the theme keeps working even if you don’t renew. The lifetime license ($99) is pay once, updates and support forever.
No, and you shouldn’t install one. Aphelion is built entirely on the WordPress block editor. Everything you see on the demo is core blocks and patterns, editable in the Site Editor.
The demo’s hero and CTA videos ship with the theme (ESO and ESA/Hubble footage under CC BY 4.0, credits included). The astronomy photos in the demo come from NASA and ESO public archives, with a full credits file listing every source. Your own astrophotography will replace them anyway, that’s the point.
Yes, 14 days. If something makes the theme unusable for you and I can’t fix it, you get a refund.
Support covers questions, bugs and help with the included features. It doesn’t cover custom development, but if you’re stuck on setup, ask, I answer every ticket myself.
