The technology
Voelas is a WordPress block theme built for Full Site Editing: templates, patterns and global styles are all native, defined through theme.json — no page builder, no premium plugin stack, and nothing between the editor and the front end. Sessions and Speakers are custom post types; everything else is blocks. Lightweight, responsive and SEO-friendly.
Licensing and updates run through Freemius: activate your key under Appearance → Theme License and the theme updates straight from your dashboard, with bundled plugin installs and demo import unlocked by the license. Compatible with current WordPress 6.x.
